Irrigation

Radio irrigation control system (large areas)

Objective

Long-distance communication or in hard-to-reach areas. The system allows for automatic and repeated irrigation and/or fertilization of vineyards equipped with drip irrigation. The system can control the start-up of the main pumps and check the various pressures in the pipes. “Low battery” or “power loss” alarms for the large pumps are also monitored. The program for each station is downloaded to each station and executed locally without human intervention.

Irrigation reports are regularly generated from the base for archiving and processing injected volumes. The system is divided into four applications and an electronic card.

  • PC application for controlling and retrieving information from the entire system (using an Ethernet network),
  • Card application linked to the PC application (HF Base),
  • Terminal-type card application (or station control),
  • Terminal-type card application (or pump control),
  • Android application for station control (and downloading new applications) This system will control:
    • Sectors (main pump)
    • Plots (4 in total per control station)
    • Water irrigation
    • Fertilizer injections

To power these boxes, a solar panel system is integrated into the boxes.
